When a person suffers from anorexia, it is usually brought on by self inflicted starvation. Anorexia starts early in life as most sufferers are teens in the beginnings of puberty. The consequences of anorexia may include irregular heart beats, osteoporosis, low body temperature, and permanent failure for normal growth.
